Eason Horticultural Resources (EHR) is a national US horticultural sales company providing a wide range of ornamental horticultural products to professional growers and retailers as well as independent consultation for product selection and production. Those products include an extensive selection of unrooted, rooted, TC, and finished annuals, perennials, tropicals, and flower bulbs, as well as nursery stock and greenhouse structural systems.
EHR was founded in 1993 by Jim Eason. Jim graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis on plant development and physiology. He learned the horticultural trade at the original Vaughans Seed Co. starting in 1974. When Vaughans was acquired by Sandoz in 1991, Jim created a specialized independent sales organization of experienced horticulturists which utilized cutting-edge customized software to provide customers and vendors with an enhanced business experience. EHR has grown steadily over the past twenty five years, and currently employs twenty eight outside sales professionals supported by an inside support staff of fifteen specialists.
